Lets be honest, we often have the best intentions of keeping up with our fitness routines or even starting fresh while we travel. Disrupted sleep patterns, amazing restaurants and TOO MUCH night life can knock even the most die-hard athlete out of rhythm. Combined with the fact that vacation rentals typically don’t have a gym and more often than not, hotel fitness room offerings are dated or lackluster at best, getting after while traveling can be a serious challenge.
Enter suspension training. It’s no secret that you don’t have to hammer iron to get fit. In fact, the 82nd Airborne Division uses suspension training to keeps its elite soldiers in tip-top shape while deployed overseas. With 100’s of exercise variations that can be performed literally anywhere (your hotel room or even in a tree), suspension training is the king of versatility when it comes to staying fit on the road.
Invented in the 90’s by Navy Seal Navy SEAL Squadron Commander Randy Hetrick, TRX is the OG suspension training system.
