With at least 10+ states legalizing the recreational use of marijuana and our nations unquenchable thirst for quality craft beer, the convergence of weed and hops seemed like an inevitable combination. For some though, the thought of catching a buzz while catching a high dilutes the experience of consuming in THC in the first place.
The folks over at High Style Brewing Company, headquartered in San Diego California had thought this through and began working on the challenges of creating a great tasting non-alcoholic craft beer to pair with THC while the California Department of Health worked out all of the regulations regarding labeling, packaging and childproofing.
The result was a pale-ale inspired be beer based on Amarillo and Cascade hops which they say produces crisp and refreshing taste. Infused with 10mg of THC per bottle, most consumers can expect to “feel” the effects within 20-30 minutes. Expect to see the beverage become available at dispensaries throughout California in the next few weeks.
